A Jewish Day School serving students in Grades TK-6.
We are excited to announce our after-school Robotics program taught by our wonderful Technology Teacher, Daniel Shiriwastaw (Mr. S)!
This program will be offered to interested ADAT students FOR FREE on a first-come, first-served basis with a max of 10 students per troop per trimester.
Students in grades TK-3 will be invited to participate in the WeDo Lego Robotics Troop, where they will apply design thinking and coding skills to create googly-eyed Lego creations and unlock their creativity!
Students in grades 4-6 will be invited to participate in the Hummingbird Robotics Troop! This class will teach and enhance design thinking and intermediate coding skills. Hummingbird Robots allow students to unleash their imagination by combining technology and craft tools, such as cardboard, when creating automated robots!

STEAM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics - is woven into every aspect of our academic program. The integration of our core subjects with Design Thinking methodologies is at the core of our teaching philosophy. All it takes is a visit to any one of our classrooms, but especially in our Design Lab, to witness STEAM, Design Thinking, and any one of our subjects - from Language Arts to Hebrew - working together in beautiful harmony.
