A Jewish Day School serving students in Grades TK-6.
Student life at ADAT is vibrant and bustling every day. ADAT students are deeply engaged in every facet of school life, including the following activities:
Our Buddy Program pairs students from different partner grade levels throughout the year. We have found that it creates deeper relationships between our entire student body and has benefits for the younger and older children alike. For the older students, they have a chance to be a mentor to their younger counterparts; For the younger student, they have a chance to look up to someone in the older grades, ask questions, see what they have to look forward to at ADAT.
Student council provides opportunities for our students to learn leadership skills and to be a voice for the student body. Our three committees, Student Life, Ruach, and Tikkun Olam offer the chance to lead our school through special events and programs, school spirit, and service. Each committee is led by a vice president and all committees receive guidance and support from our student body president and are supervised by the student council advisor.
Our school field trips are purposeful and relate directly to our school curriculum. Often they have a service learning or design thinking focus.
Student life is also enhanced by a variety of opportunities to learn through play at lunch and recess, as well as other cross-curricular and multi-age projects.
