Join Me and Make A Difference At Mitzvah Day! - Katie Ruback
I feel honored and excited to be organizing this year’s Adat Ari El Mitzvah Day on Sunday, November 3rd! I hope you will all join me at this special cross-communal event for our schools and synagogue to engage in meaningful charitable projects to help those in need. Since 2008, Mitzvah Day has grown into a global movement of change. Now in over 20 countries, Mitzvah Day brings 40,000 people across the world to do good together.
This year, we have over 25 worthy activities to help address the injustices in our community. We’re asking people to give their time, rather than their money, whilst also creating deeper connections with our supporting charities.
Since moving here from England two years ago, my children and I have been shocked by the homelessness we see all around us on the streets of LA. We are always encouraging our children to be ‘menches’ - now here is a real opportunity to practice firsthand the powerful ADAT School Mission: ‘I ACT TO IMPROVE THE WORLD.’
So, please bring the whole family along on November 3rd, from 10am–12.30pm, and together we can make a difference!

Thank you so much!
